A__ is A__.

‘A___is A___’.

With a portfolio of international shows to date, upcoming curator, Antonia Marsh, gathers an impressive lineup of artists in group show, ‘A ___is A____.’,  to examine the relevance of still life in the context of today. Inspired by Gertrude Stein’s line: “Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose”, ‘A___is A___.’ focuses on the ‘reassessment of objects and their associations’.

Inspired by themes of gender, Marsh examines the distinction between the masculine and feminine in relation to still life and the representation of objects. ‘A___is A___.’ features work by Richie Culver, Tom Beard, Kingsley Ifill, Kate Falcone, Othelo Gervacio, James Concannon, Chase Hall, Alice Kirkpatrick, Carl Mark, Matt McCormick, Tristan Pigott, Matilde Does Ramussen, Alex Sainsbury and Rebecca Storm.
