As yet another general election approaches, 'Turbulence' brings together the work of four British artists, Kingsley Ifill, Alex Sain, Sue Webster, and Jack Whitefield. The exhibition aims to illustrate the uncertainty of the times in which we are currently living, referencing an uneasy journey of which the viewer has no control. Showing strictly monochromatic work as a nod to the limited choice of political parties, 'Turbulence' reflects the growing feeling of stagnation and looming anxiety in the political system. Where do we go from here? Can art, through self expression, make any positive contribution to the political climate of today, or are we merely adding fuel to the fire?
